Service Care Solutions are working alongside an internationally recognised rehab group, who are seeking talented and dedicated Registered Mental Health Nurses to join their permanent bank of staff. Please find a description of the work below.
Role: Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN)
Location: West Linton
Benefits: Company Pension, free parking, sick pay
Rate: £18.40 (PAYE)
Contract: Permanent (Bank)
Hours: 37.5 per week (split across 3 x 12.5hr shifts. Days/Nights as per rota)
Role Overview:
- Maintain active registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
- Practice in line with the NMC Code and CPD requirements
- Work rotational 12.5-hour shifts (days, nights, weekends)
- Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care in line with hospital standards
- Lead shifts in the absence of the Head Nurse
- Conduct risk assessments and implement risk management plans
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety requirements
- Administer and manage medications safely, including detoxification treatments
- Monitor patients and escalate clinical concerns promptly
- Supervise and support junior staff
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and effective handovers
- Support patient admissions, discharges, and multidisciplinary team working
- Participate in supervision, CPD, staff induction, and Health & Safety duties
