Are you an experienced and proactive leader within children and family services? Bradford Children and Families Trust is seeking a dedicated Team Manager to oversee and coordinate our Leaving Care and Care Leavers Team. About the Role: Team Manager

As a Team Manager, you will be responsible for providing strong leadership, managing casework, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our young people. You will lead and support a team of dedicated professionals, working collaboratively to meet shared goals while adhering to regulatory requirements and best practice standards. The Team Manager will play a pivotal role in implementing service strategies, maintaining effective communication, and ensuring the team operates efficiently within both office and hybrid working arrangements.

Candidate Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee the Leaving Care and Care Leavers Team, ensuring excellent service delivery.
  • Provide supervision, guidance, and support to team members.
  • Manage casework in compliance with statutory requirements, safeguarding, and relevant policies.
  • Coordinate team activities, meetings, and training sessions.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve service outcomes for care leavers.
  • Ensure accurate and timely record-keeping and reporting.
  • Collaborate with partner agencies, families, and young people to promote positive arrangements.
  • Assist in the development and review of policies and procedures for the team.
  • Maintain a flexible approach, including hybrid working with some office presence as required.

Candidate Requirements

  • Proven experience in children’s social care, preferably with leadership or managerial responsibilities.
  • Strong knowledge of leaving care legislation and safeguarding protocols.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience working within a hybrid working environment.

Benefits

  • Competitive pay rate 40 LTD oer hour inclusive of holiday pay or 32.12 PAYE exclusive of holiday pay.
