About the Role
Service Care Solutions have a vacancy for a local authority based in Yorkshire for a Street Scene Operative to join the Environmental team in a temporary role.
Working in the Street Clean team, as an Operative, your duties and responsibilities will include:
Driving of Fleet Vehicles around the Doncaster area.
Ensuring streets and public areas are maintained appropriate to their needs.
Carry out general street cleaning duties to comprise of litter picking, road sweeping, graffiti removal and waste management.
Working outside in all weather conditions be a focal point for the residents of the borough.
Using various tools and equipment to carry out work and adhering to health and safety protocols.
We are seeking candidates who have similar experience or a background in a customer facing role who are looking for a change in work, while willing to undertake training to enhance skills.
Working hours will be 37 hours per week:
Monday – Thursday 07:30 – 15:30 and Friday 07:30 – 15:00
Thursday to Sunday – 06:00 – 15:45
Please note, for this role, we require candidates who hold a Full UK Driving License as the Role holder will drive a company van.
