Rate: £21.02 LTD per hour
Initial Contract: 3 months (with potential extension)

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Family Worker to join our dedicated team, specialising in family reunification and Special Guardianship Order (SGO) conversions. About the Role In this pivotal position, you’ll work closely with children, families, carers, and professionals to support safe, sustainable family reunification and ensure robust SGO arrangements. Your work will directly contribute to achieving permanence and improving long-term outcomes for children.

Key Responsibilities
Work intensively with families to facilitate safe and sustainable reunification plans.
Provide guidance, emotional support, and practical assistance during the SGO conversion process.
Undertake comprehensive assessments and contribute to care planning alongside social workers and wider professionals.
Deliver targeted interventions that strengthen family relationships and reduce risk factors.
Monitor progress, evaluate outcomes, and provide ongoing support to ensure successful transitions. What We’re Looking For
Proven experience in family support, reunification work, or permanence planning.
Strong understanding of child development, safeguarding principles, and statutory frameworks.
Exceptional communication and engagement skills with children, families, and professionals.
Ability to manage complex cases and thrive within a collaborative, multi-agency setting.
Dedication to improving outcomes for care-experienced children and young people.
