Service Care Solutions are proud to be recruiting for a Specialist Neurodevelopmental Practitioner on behalf of a leading independent provider of autism and ADHD assessments across the UK. This innovative service delivers high-quality, evidence-based neurodevelopmental assessments for children, young people and adults through both NHS-funded and private pathways. Through Service Care Solutions, you’ll join a passionate multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering timely, accurate diagnoses and improving long-term outcomes for families. The organisation is committed to clinical excellence and clinician wellbeing, equipping staff with cutting-edge digital systems, smart report-writing tools and in-house IT support to reduce administrative burden and enhance clinical impact.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct face-to-face structured assessments
  • Complete remote developmental history interviews with parents and carers via Zoom
  • Participate in collaborative MDT diagnostic discussions (with senior support where required)
  • Deliver clear, compassionate feedback to families
  • Produce accurate, high-quality diagnostic reports using smart report-writing tools
  • Meet service KPIs through effective caseload management
  • Provide clinical supervision where applicable
  • Travel to clinic bases for in-person assessments (hybrid roles)

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year’s professional registration with HCPC, NMC, GMC or Social Work England
  • At least 1 year’s experience conducting autism and/or ADHD diagnostic assessments in CYP
  • Strong understanding of differential diagnosis in neurodevelopmental presentations
  • In-depth knowledge of DSM-5 criteria for autism and ADHD
  • Experience using tools such as ADOS-2, ADI-R or equivalent
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
