Service Care Solutions are delighted to be working with a rapidly growing Accountancy Practice who are looking for an experienced Client Accountant to join their team. You will have experience of managing a portfolio of clients and be qualified.

This client offers flexible hours and hybrid working, understanding the importance of work-life balance.

What you will be doing:

  • Managing a portfolio of clients, keeping all financial records up to date and compliant with accounting standards.
  • Preparation of financial statements, tax returns, and other financial reports.
  • Conducting regular financial assessments and providing advice to clients regarding tax planning, financial strategies, and business growth opportunities.
  • Developing and implementing financial plans and budgets based on clients' needs.
  • Assisting with statutory financial accounts production for a variety of different clients.
  • Acting as a first port of call for your clients, answering any queries and concerns as and when they arise.
  • Assisting management of junior members of staff.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • ACCA/ACA/CIMA/AAT or QBE
  • Minimum 5 years experience within a UK based Accountancy Practice
  • Experience with Sage and TaxCalc
  • Ability to work under pressure and work towards tight deadlines
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients
