Service Care Solutions is working with a dynamic local authority, based in Somerset, which is seeking an experienced Childcare Solicitor to join them on a fully remote basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced local authority childcare lawyer looking for long-term remote work within a supportive and well-established team.
Location: Somerset - Fully Remote
Umbrella Rate: £55 to £60ph
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing a caseload of public law childcare matters, including care proceedings, PLO work, and drafting legal documentation on behalf of the local authority.
- Advising social workers, managers, and internal stakeholders on childcare law, safeguarding, and statutory responsibilities.
- Representing the local authority at remote hearings and working collaboratively with courts, barristers, and multi-agency professionals.
