We are seeking a passionate and qualified Social Worker (Adults) to join our team. Job Title: Social Worker (Adults) Location: Cheshire East Council Employment Type: Agency Pay Rate: 28.92 PAYE exclusive of holiday pay or 37.03 LTD inclusive of holiday pay Responsibilities of the Social Worker (Adults) As a Social Worker (Adults), your core responsibilities will include: Conducting comprehensive assessments for adults requiring social services. Developing and implementing care plans tailored to individual needs. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality service delivery. Providing expert advice and support to vulnerable adults and their families. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with statutory requirements. Ensuring that all safeguarding procedures, including Adults Barred List checks, are meticulously followed. Upholding safeguarding standards and promoting client welfare at all times. Managing caseloads efficiently to meet service targets and deadlines.Candidate Requirements To succeed as a Social Worker (Adults), you should possess: Valid DBS clearance (please confirm whether a standard or enhanced check is required). Knowledge of safeguarding procedures, especially Adults Barred List checks. Registration with the appropriate professional body (e.g., HCPC). Strong assessment and report-writing skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
