We are looking for a Specialty Grade Doctor to join our growing virtual ADHD service. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a multi-disciplinary team delivering high-quality ADHD assessments and treatment for adults. The role offers fully remote working, strong clinical support, and opportunities to contribute to service development as the organisation continues to expand.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive adult ADHD assessments and reassessments.
- Provide medication reviews, titration, and follow-up consultations.
- Develop and deliver non-pharmacological treatment and support for adults with ADHD.
- Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary clinical team.
- Maintain accurate and high-quality clinical records.
Core Duties
- Assess and diagnose ADHD in adults, considering co-morbidities and risk factors.
- Monitor treatment progress and manage medication side effects.
- Prescribe and titrate ADHD medication within professional scope of practice.
- Provide psychoeducation, post-diagnostic advice, and ongoing support.
- Complete physical health observations related to medication treatment.
- Build positive therapeutic relationships with service users and families.
- Record clinical information using electronic clinical systems.
- Develop treatment plans and care pathways in collaboration with service users.
- Identify risks and respond appropriately to urgent clinical situations.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and service development.
