Interim Contract – 3 Months Initially

36 Hours per Week

£36.40 Umbrella / £27.81 PAYE (exclusive)

Haringey Council is looking for a motivated and experienced Deputy Head to support leadership within education and early years settings. This role is ideal for an established senior leader ready to contribute to high-quality teaching, learning, and safeguarding practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support senior leadership in the day-to-day running of the setting
  • Contribute to curriculum development and delivery
  • Ensure high standards in safeguarding and Ofsted compliance
  • Lead and motivate staff, supporting performance and development
  • Promote inclusive practice and positive outcomes for all children
  • Work closely with families, staff, and external partners

About You:

  • Experience in a senior leadership role within education (e.g. Assistant Head / Deputy Head)
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding, Ofsted, and school improvement
  • Background in primary or early years settings desirable
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
