Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting on behalf of one of our private clients in the Lancashire area for an experienced Service Support Manager. This is a permanent, full-time position offering a competitive salary and the opportunity to lead high-quality supported living services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out audits and spot checks to ensure consistently high service standards, using our AI-integrated auditing system.
  • Oversee and develop staff rotas via BrightHR.
  • Ensure compliance through regular staff training, supervision, and performance appraisals.
  • Create and review support plans and risk assessments using Log My Care.
  • Support the planning and transition of new individuals entering the service.
  • Participate in on-call duties as required.
  • Provide direct support during allocated shifts to maintain service continuity.
  • Investigate and review accidents and incidents, implementing improvements where needed.
  • Provide shift cover in cases of staff sickness or absence.
  • Offer ad-hoc support to team members and services when required.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor Senior Support Workers, Deputy Team Leaders, and Team Leaders.
  • Promote and uphold the values of Believe Care and Support in all aspects of your work.

Working Hours

  • 37.5 hours per week
  • Flexibility to meet service needs
  • Minimum of one shift per month supporting complex individuals
  • Weekend availability required
  • Opportunities to work from home on agreed days, depending on service requirements
  • Flexible working hours available

You will provide leadership and support across services for six individuals in Lancashire, ensuring safe, effective, and person-centred care.
