Service Care Solutions are delighted to be working with a well-known accountancy firm in the heart of Newcastle who are looking for a Senior Payroll Administrator to join their team due to expansion. This firm appreciates the importance of work-life balance and offers a generous hybrid working model.
You will be running multiple payrolls for your portfolio of clients. This can be a mix of weekly, bi-weekly, 4-weekly, and monthly payroll.
What you will be doing:
- Payroll processing for weekly, 4-weekly, and monthly payrolls end to end
- Calculation of wages, bonuses, overtime, and statutory payment deductions
- Ensuring all payments and submissions are filed with HMRC in a timely manner
- Ensure compliance with tax and employment legislation
- Prepare and submit payroll reports
- Maintain up-to-date employee payroll records and ensure data is inputted correctly
- Handle payroll amendments, starters, leavers, and year-end processes
- Act as a main point of contact for your portfolio, handling queries and offering payroll advice
- Reconciliation of payroll reports
- Processing CIS returns for contractors
- Assisting with junior members of staff
- Other ad-hoc duties as required
Skills and Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years within Payroll
- Experience in a payroll bureau/managing multiple payrolls
