This is an exciting, permanent role based in Redhill and surrounding areas, focusing on void property repairs and refurbishment to ensure homes are ready for new residents. About the Role: Multi-Skilled Operative
As a Multi-Skilled Operative, you will be responsible for completing multi-trade repairs within empty social housing properties. Your work will involve diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs in various trades including kitchen and bathroom refurbishment, and ensuring all jobs meet high standards of quality and safety. You will also update job information using electronic booking systems, maintain tools and equipment, and work safely to meet productivity targets.
Candidate Responsibilities – Multi-Skilled Operative
- Complete multi-trade repairs within void properties efficiently and to a high standard
- Carry out work in your main trade and additional secondary trades as required
- Diagnose faults and deliver effective repairs and refurbishments
- Complete kitchen, bathroom, and general property refurbishment work
- Update job details accurately using electronic systems
- Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicle
- Adhere to health and safety protocols at all times
- Work collaboratively within the team to meet deadlines and standards
Candidate Requirements – Multi-Skilled Operative
- City & Guilds Level 2, NVQ Level 2 or equivalent trade qualification
- Strong multi-skilled property repair experience
- Experience working within social housing, voids, or property maintenance
- Full UK driving license
- Willingness to complete a Basic DBS check
