This is your chance to open and lead a brand-new 3-bed children’s home in Leicestershire, due to launch in August.

Your Role as Registered Manager

You’ll take the reins from day one—guiding setup, registering the home, and creating a warm, therapeutic environment where children can heal, grow, and thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead recruitment and development of a brand-new care team
  • Oversee registration and regulatory compliance (Ofsted, safeguarding, etc.)
  • Deliver outstanding residential care in line with individualised care plans
  • Build strong links with local authorities, professionals, and families
  • Manage home budgets and ensure financial and operational excellence
  • Drive continuous improvement and a positive team culture

What You’ll Bring

We’re seeking a committed and passionate leader with:

  • 3+ years’ experience in a senior role within children’s residential care
  • Level 4 Children & Young People’s Workforce (or equivalent)
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or working towards)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding, compliance, and trauma-informed care
  • Confidence to manage people, processes, and challenges in a start-up environment
