Luton Borough Council is seeking compassionate and motivated Reablement Support Workers to join their Adult Social Care team. This is a fulfilling role that enables people to live as independently as possible after illness or hospital discharge, through personalised short-term support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal, practical and rehabilitative support tailored to individual care plans
- Carry out therapeutic activities and skills practice to build confidence and daily living ability
- Help service users improve and maintain mobility and independence
- Work collaboratively as part of a team, while also managing responsibilities independently
- Support across a flexible 7-day rota, with shifts varying week to week
About You:

Essential Criteria:
- Experience working unsupervised within a care team
- Previous experience in a reablement service or similar environment
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
