Job Description Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced and Cat A cleared Prison Nurse (RMN) to join the healthcare team inLiverpool.
Working within a secure environment, you’ll deliver essential nurse-led services that mirror those found in the wider community, while also addressing the unique needs of individuals in custody. This is a rewarding opportunity to support and influence a patient’s journey throughout their time in prison.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality nursing care for minor illnesses, injuries, and urgent/emergency presentations.
Complete initial health assessments and care planning for new arrivals.
Administer medication in line with local and national guidelines.
Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams and custodial staff.
Promote health and wellbeing in a respectful, patient-centred manner.
Person Specification
Qualified Mental Health Nurse (RMN) registered with the NMC.
Prison experience essential, with recent work in a secure setting.
Must hold valid Cat A clearance and have a clear, transferable Enhanced DBS check.
Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-agency setting while maintaining professionalism and patient dignity.
