Are you an experienced recruiter looking for a warm, high-performing desk with huge growth potential? We’re expanding our Housing – Trades & Labour Division and are looking for a driven Recruitment Consultant to take ownership of a thriving market.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy, successful team within one of the UK’s leading specialist recruitment agencies. You’ll inherit a live, revenue-generating desk with established client relationships and frameworks already in place, providing a solid foundation to build from day one.
As a Recruitment Consultant, you’ll be responsible for:
- Managing and growing relationships with clients across Local Authorities, Housing Associations, and private sector firms.
- Sourcing and placing skilled Trades & Labour professionals across the Midlands and Southwest.
- Developing new business through proactive outreach and account management.
- Managing the full recruitment cycle — from advertising and candidate screening to client liaison and aftercare.
- Working towards realistic targets with full autonomy to shape and grow your desk.
You’ll be joining a high-performing market with:
- Established frameworks including MSP Contracts
- A strong existing client base
- On average, 15 live vacancies per month and 2–3 permanent roles per quarter.
- Previous consultants consistently achieving success including Top Biller and Top Perm awards.
We’re looking for a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. Ideally, you will have:
- Proven experience as a Recruitment Consultant or in a role with transferable skills such as Sales, Customer Service, etc.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong business development ability with a focus on delivering results.
- A positive attitude and a desire to progress your career within a successful team.
