Service Care Solutions is partnering with a well-established non-profit organisation to recruit a Recovery Worker.
In this role, you will provide compassionate, person-centred support to individuals affected by drug and alcohol misuse. You will work closely with service users to promote recovery, enhance wellbeing, and empower them to achieve positive, long-term outcomes through tailored support and intervention.
Role: Recovery Coordinator
Rate: £18.14 to £20.62 per hour (PAYE exc.)/ £20.15 to £23 per hour (Umbrella/Ltd)
Location: Preston
Working: 5 days per week. 37.5 hours.
Role Overview:
- Hold a valid Enhanced DBS registered with the Update Service.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of service users.
- Provide support and guidance to individuals from the point of referral and throughout their recovery journey.
- Complete screening assessments and develop personalised recovery plans tailored to individual needs.
- Deliver both one-to-one interventions and facilitate group-based recovery sessions.
- Demonstrate previous experience working within the substance misuse and addiction sector.
- Possess a sound understanding of the physical, mental, and social health issues associated with substance misuse.
- Have experience in key working, case management, and developing person-centred care and recovery plans.
