The Role
We are looking for enthusiastic and committed KS1 and KS2 Teachers to join our supply team, working across a range of primary schools in Preston, Chorley and Leyland.
This is an excellent opportunity for qualified teachers looking for flexible work, including experienced teachers, ECTs and those returning to the profession.
You will teach across Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2, delivering engaging lessons and providing continuity of learning when the class teacher is absent.
Assignments may range from individual days to longer-term placements, depending on school requirements and your availability.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and purposeful lessons using school planning and resources.
- Teach across KS1 and/or KS2 according to your experience and preference.
- Create a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment.
- Maintain high expectations for learning, behaviour and pupil engagement.
- Adapt teaching to meet the needs of individual pupils, including pupils with SEND.
- Follow school policies, safeguarding procedures and curriculum expectations.
- Build positive relationships with pupils and staff quickly.
- Provide appropriate feedback to the school following each assignment.
- We Are Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- A good understanding of the KS1 and/or KS2 curriculum.
- A passion for helping children learn and succeed.
- A calm, confident and adaptable approach.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- The ability to establish positive relationships quickly.
- Reliability, professionalism and a strong commitment to safeguarding.
- Flexibility to work across different primary schools and year groups.
