About the Role
Service Care Education are seeking a reliable, enthusiastic, and caring After School Club Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will help provide a safe, engaging, and fun environment for children at the end of the school day.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervising children aged [4–11 years] during after-school sessions
- Planning and supporting fun, creative, and physical activities
- Preparing and serving light snacks in line with health and safety guidelines
- Promoting positive behaviour and inclusion
- Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all children
- Communicating effectively with parents and staff
- Assisting with setting up and tidying away equipment
Requirements
- Experience working with children (preferred)
- Positive, energetic, and patient attitude
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Understanding of safeguarding and child protection
- Relevant childcare qualification (desirable but not essential)
- First Aid certificate (preferred)
