Band 6 Podiatrist – Full Time – Oxford NHS TrustLocation: Oxford BanburyHours: Monday to Friday, Full TimeRate: £27 per hour (Umbrella)Agency: Service Care SolutionsService Care Solutions are currently recruiting for a Band 6 Podiatrist to join the NHS in Oxford on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced clinician to provide high-quality podiatry services within a supportive and professional team.Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver specialist podiatry care to patients with ‘at risk’ foot health status, including those with compromised circulation, neurological deficits, and reduced tissue viability.
  • Assess, diagnose, and manage patients with painful gait anomalies through biomechanical evaluation and the prescription/manufacture of appropriate orthoses.
  • Provide treatment for patients with onychogryphosis, including the use of local anaesthetics and minor surgical procedures.
  • Manage a defined caseload of patients, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to the ongoing development of the podiatry service.
Requirements:
  • HCPC registration as a Podiatrist.
  • Proven experience in a similar Band 6 role within the NHS or equivalent.
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
  • Experience in managing complex foot health conditions and performing minor surgical procedures.
  • Excellent communication and team-working abilities.
