Overview

Location: Middlemoor HQ, Sidmouth Rd, Middlemour, Exeter, EX2 7HQ

Contract: 12-month contract with likely extension

Hours: 37 hours per week (Monday-Friday)

Pay Rate: Β£13.10 PAYE per hour

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing the full lifecycle of Subject Access Requests, ensuring statutory deadlines (one calendar month) are met
  • Researching and retrieving personal data from multiple Force systems
  • Reviewing large volumes of text-based information to accurately identify personal data relevant to applicants
  • Making defensible disclosure decisions and clearly justifying those decisions
  • Handling challenges and disputes regarding disclosures, escalating where appropriate
  • Liaising with internal departments to gather required information
  • Providing clear, accurate advice to internal and external stakeholders on SAR processes
  • Supporting delivery of Data Protection training and workshops
  • Maintaining records of mandatory Data Protection training compliance
  • Supporting wider Data Protection and Information Sharing activity as required
