Are you a skilled Plasterer / Multi-trade Operative seeking a rewarding contract opportunity in Islington? We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Plasterer / Multi-trade Operative to join our Homes & Neighbourhoods team. If you have a passion for delivering high-quality repairs and excellent customer service within social housing environments, this is your chance to make a real difference. This Plasterer / Multi-trade Operative role offers a competitive pay rate of £23 per hour, working Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
Responsibilities
- Performing all aspects of plastering, including patch repairs, skimming, rendering, and ceiling/wall repairs.
- Carrying out minor multi-trade tasks such as basic carpentry, tiling, or painting.
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
- Delivering a professional, customer-focused service to tenants and residents.
- Accurately completing job documentation and reports using handheld devices (if applicable).
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience in plastering, preferably within social housing or public sector environments.
- Ability to undertake minor multi-trade tasks.
- A full UK driving license is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
- Reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
