Occupational Therapy Lead - Adult Reablement

Rate: £33.28ph Umbrella (£25.82ph PAYE)
Contract: 6 Months
Hours: 37 Hours Per Week
Working Pattern: Office-Based
Service Care Solutions are recruiting for an experienced Occupational Therapy Lead to join Gloucestershire County Council's Adult Social Care Reablement Service.
This is an excellent leadership opportunity for a Senior Occupational Therapist looking to take the next step in their career, supporting practitioners, driving service improvement and overseeing complex casework within a busy Adult Social Care setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Line management, supervision and mentoring of Occupational Therapists and practitioners
- Providing support and oversight for complex and high-risk cases
- Conducting practice audits and ensuring professional standards are maintained
- Championing strengths-based practice and independence-focused interventions
- Contributing to service development and continuous improvement initiatives
- Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams across Adult Social Care
Essential Requirements
- HCPC registration and recognised Occupational Therapy qualification
- Significant post-qualified experience within Adult Social Care or statutory services
- Previous supervision, mentoring or management experience
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation, the Care Act and the Mental Capacity Act
- Excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
