Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for a Children’s Occupational Therapist to join Rochdale Council’s Children with Disabilities Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a vital role in supporting children and young people to live more independently and safely within their homes.
The Role
- Complete holistic assessments for children and young people with disabilities
- Recommend and provide specialist equipment, including seating, moving handling, bathing, and toileting equipment
- Assess for minor and major home adaptations
- Work closely with families, carers, education, health professionals, and partner agencies
- Deliver child-centred interventions to improve independence and quality of life
We’re Looking For
- HCPC registered Occupational Therapist
- Experience managing an independent caseload
- Knowledge of equipment provision and home adaptations
- Children’s equipment experience desirable but not essential
- Strong communication and multi-agency working skills
