Contract: Interim – Initial 3 months

Rate: £200 per day (umbrella) (£152 PAYE per day)

We are supporting a Local Authority in the East Midlands to recruit an experienced EHC Plan Writer on an interim basis. This is a fully remote opportunity focused purely on writing, with no caseworker responsibilities.

Key responsibilities:

  • Produce high-quality, compliant Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)
  • Lead on plan amendments and annual reviews
  • Ensure documentation meets statutory requirements and deadlines
  • Work efficiently to manage a high-volume caseload of plans

Requirements:

  • Proven experience writing EHCPs within a Local Authority setting
  • Strong background in amendments and annual reviews
  • Ability to produce clear, accurate plans at pace
  • Experience using Idox is desirable
