Our client is a rapidly growing national facilities management business operating across four UK offices, with headquarters based in Newcastle Upon Tyne. Due to continued contract wins and nationwide expansion, they are now seeking an experienced HVAC Maintenance Manager to oversee and lead their growing HVAC division. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong HVAC professional looking to step into a senior management role within a stable and expanding organisation that genuinely invests in employee development, long-term progression, and technical upskilling. No two days are the same within this business, and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of projects and contracts nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage nationwide HVAC maintenance operations across multiple client sites
  • Supervise maintenance schedules, reactive works, quotations, and tender submissions
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programmes
  • Lead fault finding, repairs, and HVAC system upgrades
  • Manage engineers and technical teams, ensuring high standards of delivery and compliance
  • Read and interpret schematics, electrical diagrams, and PLC control systems
  • Coordinate project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation
  • Ensure all works are completed in line with health & safety regulations and company procedures
  • Produce reports and maintain accurate maintenance documentation

Candidate Requirements

  • Proven experience within HVAC maintenance management or supervisory roles
  • Strong technical background in HVAC and air conditioning systems
  • Experience managing engineers and technical teams across multiple sites
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and understand PLC systems
  • Strong organisational and project management skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Full UK driving licence preferred
