We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Gambling Practitioner to join our specialist service supporting individuals and communities affected by gambling-related harm.
Hours, Salary, Contract
- Hours: 35 hours per week
- Salary: £28,700 per annum
- Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Key Responsibilities
- Manage referrals, screening, and assessments
- Deliver recovery-focused interventions, including one-to-one, group work, relapse prevention, and mutual aid
- Develop and review recovery care plans using evidence-based approaches (e.g. MI, CBT-informed practice)
- Promote engagement with peer support and self-help resources
- Work collaboratively with partner agencies and deliver training and awareness sessions
- Maintain accurate records, manage a caseload, and contribute to service evaluation
Qualifications and Experience
- NQF Level 4 qualification (or above) in a relevant field
- Experience supporting individuals with complex needs (e.g. addictions or mental health)
- Knowledge of safeguarding and governance
- Strong communication and partnership-working skills
- Commitment to person-centred, recovery-oriented practice
