An established Housing Association in Norfolk is looking to recruit a Senior Building Surveyor to join their Asset Management team on a permanent basis. This role will lead a team of surveyors delivering condition surveys, responsive repair inspections, and disrepair investigations across the organisation's housing portfolio. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced surveying professional with strong technical knowledge and leadership skills to play a key role in improving housing standards and resolving complex property issues.
Overview of the role:
- The Senior Disrepair Surveyor will oversee a team responsible for condition surveys, defect diagnosis, and responsive repairs inspections.
- The role will also support legal disrepair cases, ensuring accurate technical assessments and clear repair specifications to help resolve cases effectively.
- You will work closely with the Asset Management team, contractors, and residents to ensure works are delivered safely, compliantly, and to a high standard, while contributing to long-term asset planning and data accuracy across the housing stock.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage and develop a team of surveyors delivering inspections and condition surveys.
- Oversee the delivery of the rolling stock condition survey programme.
