As a Non Medical Prescriber you will provide effective support to the treatment programme in a way that enables service users to overcome their addiction to Substance Misuse, Gambling or Mental Health and move forward to recovery and independent living. You will provide therapeutic treatment that sustains a person's recovery throughout their journey from assessment through to the end of treatment. Our client are one of UK's leading charities to provide support for those who are affected by Addictions. It was set up in the 1970's and they have centre's across the UK offering residential support/treatment men and women. They offer relapse prevention and aftercare programmes, and deliver a unique retreat & counselling programme that combines short-stay residential treatment and ongoing at-home support. Key role and responsibilities for Non Medical Prescriber; Provide Clinical Service to Alcohol and Drug Users including evidence based non-medical prescribing service Provide Tailored Treatment Interventions Undertaking Community Detoxification, Medications Titrations, Stabilisation Programmes and Relapse Prevention PlansMinimum requirements for a Non Medical Prescriber; Nurse Qualification – RGN, RMN or RNLD with UK Registration V300 Qualification or equivalent Awareness of health issues relating to Substance MisuseOur client vision is to be a World-Class leader in rebuilding lives, to inspire and empower people to live healthier and safer lives.
