We are recruiting on behalf of a leading fire safety consultancy that is passionate about protecting people, property, and the environment through high-quality fire safety solutions.

Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced

Fire Risk Consultant to join their expanding Consultancy team. This is a home-based role covering

Wales, the Midlands, South East and South West , offering autonomy, flexibility, and the opportunity to work with a highly respected organisation within the fire safety sector.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Fire Risk Consultant looking to further develop their career within an accredited and forward-thinking business committed to excellence in fire safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct Legislative and Non-Legislative Fire Risk Assessments.
  • Produce detailed fire safety reports in line with qualifications and competency levels.
  • Ensure all assessments and reports comply with current legislation, standards, and industry guidance.
  • Work closely with senior consultants and management to maintain third-party certification compliance.
  • Prepare specialist fire safety reports, including Regulation 38 and Fire Strategy reports where appropriate.
  • Act as a key point of contact for consultancy projects and clients.
  • Carry out Fire Risk Assessments across a broad range of premises including:
  • Offices
  • Industrial and manufacturing facilities
  • Hotels
  • Residential developments
  • Care homes
  • NHS and healthcare buildings
  • Schools, colleges, and educational facilities
  • Deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Ensure all technical work is completed accurately and to a high standard.
  • Follow established assessment, validation, and reporting procedures.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and industry best practices.
  • Support the continued growth and development of the consultancy division.

Essential

Level 4 Diploma in Fire Risk Assessment (or higher).

  • Proven experience carrying out Fire Risk Assessments across a wide variety of buildings, including high-risk premises.
  • Strong knowledge of current fire safety legislation, standards, and guidance.
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively manage your own diary and workload.
  • Professional, organised, and customer-focused approach.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.

Desirable

  • Experience producing specialist fire safety documentation and reports.
  • Experience working within accredited or third-party certified fire safety organisations.
  • Additional fire safety qualifications above Level 4.
