Join a leading housing association and make a difference in local communities! We are looking for a Neighbourhood Response Officer to ensure safe, clean, and well-maintained neighbourhoods while supporting residents and tackling tenancy issues.

THE ROLE

  • Deliver excellent neighbourhood services and ensure estates remain great places to live.
  • Carry out regular estate inspections and follow up on fire safety risk assessments.
  • Investigate and address tenancy breaches, including anti-social behaviour (ASB) cases.
  • Work with residents, community groups, and external agencies to improve neighbourhoods.
  • Support vulnerable tenants and assess their need for ongoing tenancy sustainment.
  • Conduct property visits, tenancy sign-ups, and assignments.
  • Represent the organisation in court when required and attend evictions or hearings.
  • Assist in major incidents and coordinate temporary tenant relocations.

THE CANDIDATE

  • Previous experience in a similar role within housing or neighbourhood services.
  • Strong customer service skills with experience dealing with tenants face-to-face.
  • Knowledge of tenancy agreements, housing law, and ASB management.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with teams and external partners.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to handle challenging situations.
  • A proactive and solution-focused approach to neighbourhood improvements.
  • Full driving licence with use of own vehicle.

THE CONTRACT

Temporary – 3 months. The pay rate for the role is £22.03 per hour LTD company rate. The PAYE equivalent is £18.78 per hour, inclusive of holiday.
