Location: Ashchurch Centre, Hammersmith & Fulham, London
Working Days: Tuesday to Thursday – 21.75 hours
Pay: £14.57 per hour PAYE (Inc Holiday) | £18.58 per hour LTD Umbrella
The Role
Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting on behalf of a London Local Authority for a PCV Minibus Driver to support one of their Centres in Hammersmith. This is a part-time temporary opportunity, working Tuesday to Thursday, and will require an Enhanced DBS Check.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing safe, reliable, and supportive transport for adults attending the service. The Service is dedicated to promoting opportunities for adults with learning disabilities, autism, physical and mental health needs, dementia, and complex needs.
As part of this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring service users can access day opportunities that help them live healthy, safe, and fulfilling lives.
Responsibilities
- Safely operating a PCV-licenced minibus to transport service users to and from the centre.
- Supporting passengers when boarding and disembarking, ensuring comfort and safety.
- Maintaining the vehicle to a clean and roadworthy standard.
- Demonstrating respect, patience, and care towards service users at all times.
- Working alongside staff, carers, and families to maintain a person-centred approach.
Qualifications
- Valid PCV (Passenger Carrying Vehicle) licence.
- Previous experience driving minibuses or similar passenger vehicles.
- Strong awareness of passenger safety and safeguarding responsibilities.
- Ability to build positive relationships and provide supportive interaction.
- Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS Check.
