About the Role
We are currently seeking experienced Educational Psychologists to support a Local Authority in the South East with the completion of statutory Education, Health and Care (EHC) assessments. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a vital service supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Each assessment is expected to take approximately 2 days, and work will be allocated based on your availability. While face-to-face assessments are preferred, the service will also consider hybrid and fully remote candidates (rates may vary for fully remote delivery).
Key Responsibilities
- Complete statutory Educational Psychology assessments within required timeframes
- Produce high-quality, clear and evidence-based psychological advice reports
- Work collaboratively with families, schools, and multi-agency professionals
- Ensure all work complies with statutory guidance and local authority standards
- Manage your own caseload effectively to meet deadlines
Essential Requirements
- HCPC registration (mandatory)
- Minimum of 3 years experience working within a UK local authority as an Educational Psychologist
- Proven experience completing statutory assessments and writing educational psychology reports
