Medical Receptionist / Administrator

Position: Medical Receptionist / Administrator

Location: Stapleford, Nottingham NG9

System: SystmOne

Contract: Short-term cover

Our client is seeking an experienced, highly organised, and patient-focused Medical Receptionist/Administrator to support the team during December and early January. This role requires someone proactive, adaptable, and confident working in a fast-paced primary care environment.

Working Hours

  • 23th December: 08:00 – 18:30
  • 30th December: 08:00 – 18:30
  • 31th December: 08:00 – 18:30
  • 2nd Jan: 08:00 – 18:30

Additional hours may become available.

Experience using SystmOne is essential.

Main Duties

  • Greeting and assisting patients in person and over the phone
  • Managing appointments and patient queries
  • Processing clinical and administrative tasks
  • Handling prescription requests and supporting daily workflow
  • Ensuring accurate data entry and maintaining patient confidentiality
  • Supporting clinicians and integrating with the wider practice team
