We are hiring multiple Personal Advisers to work with children in care and care leavers across the Manchester area. If you are passionate about making a tangible difference, this role is your chance to help young people thrive and achieve independence.
Your Role:
- Deliver care and pathway plans for children and young people in care
- Guide young people through transitions into education, training, employment, and independent living
- Provide practical and emotional support, liaising with carers, families, and professionals
- Support Children in Care Council and Care Leavers’ Forum to promote participation
- Work flexibly across various fieldwork establishments, including evenings and weekends
Ideal Candidate:
- Experienced in supporting children, adolescents, or families in a professional capacity
- NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent
- Skilled communicator, able to build meaningful relationships and resolve conflicts effectively
- Knowledgeable in safeguarding, child development, and statutory care planning
