Job Title: Multi Skilled Operative\\n Location: London Borough of Southwark\\n Salary: Competitive\\n\\n Job Type: Full-time, Permanent (36 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)\\n\\n We are seeking a proactive and experienced Multi Skilled Operative to deliver day-to-day maintenance and repairs across eight leisure centres in the London Borough of Southwark. This is a hands-on, multi-trade role with a focus on ensuring facilities remain safe, clean, and operational for all users.\\n\\n About the Role:\\n You will carry out a wide range of planned and reactive maintenance tasks, including plumbing, carpentry, painting, basic electrical work, and general building fabric maintenance. You will also work closely with centre managers and contractors to support statutory compliance and excellent service delivery.\\n\\n Key Responsibilities:\\n\\nPerform routine and emergency maintenance across multiple sites\\n\\nCarry out repairs and improvements to building fabric, fixtures, and fittings\\n\\nEnsure all works comply with health & safety and building regulations\\n\\nSupport statutory compliance and building safety, including fire safety standards\\n\\nCollaborate with internal teams and external contractors to maintain high standards\\n\\nKey Qualifications & Experience:\\n\\nCity & Guilds NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing or equivalent\\n\\nCity & Guilds NVQ Level 3 in Carpentry or equivalent\\n\\nOR City & Guilds NVQ Level 3 in Multi-skills or equivalent\\n\\nStrong understanding of health & safety, building regulations, and fire safety standards\\n\\nFull, clean UK driving licence\\n\\nAbility to work at height\\n\\nEnhanced DBS may be required\\n\\nWorking Pattern:\\n\\n36 hours per week (Monday to Friday)\\n\\nStandard hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM\\n\\nFlexibility required to adjust start and finish times occasionally to meet business needs\\n\\nWhat We Offer:\\n\\nA varied and rewarding role in a supportive team environment\\n\\nOpportunities for ongoing training and development\\n\\nThe chance to make a real difference in the community\\nThe pay range for the role is £26.00per hour LTD company rate.
