Service Care Solutions are recruiting for an experienced Strategic Relationship Manager to support the Ministry of Justice on a full-time, long-term contract.
Location: Hybrid – any MOJ site across the UK (ad hoc travel to meetings, occasionally)
IR35: Inside IR35
Rate: £650 per day (Umbrella)
Security Clearance: BPSS
The Role
You’ll lead strategic relationship and stakeholder management across a complex public sector environment, building long-term partnerships and driving outcomes. This is a senior (G7-level) role requiring credibility with executive stakeholders and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead strategic relationship management and senior stakeholder engagement across multiple workstreams
- Manage commercial activity from inception/strategy through to contract award
- Run open and competitive procedures and ensure scope documentation aligns to client needs
- Work closely with legal teams to support drafting/negotiation of contract terms and conditions
- Deliver strategic, high-risk, high-value contracts and frameworks, ensuring value for money
- Identify and manage commercial risks; support pre- and post-award negotiations and dispute resolution
- Provide clear, actionable insight to decision makers in complex/ambiguous situations
Essential Experience
- Proven Strategic Relationship Management / partnership management / senior stakeholder engagement experience
- Construction sector experience (or strong working knowledge), including supply chains and commercial drivers
- Strong public sector / government environment experience (governance, assurance, accountability)
- NEC contract knowledge and strong construction commercial experience
