Service Care Solutions are currently working alongside a popular local authority, based in Cheshire, which is seeking an experienced Planning and Highway Solicitor to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to progress in your career and gain experience in the legal industry. This role pays a competitive rate of:
- Umbrella Rate - 40-45 an hour depending on experience.
- PAYE (Inc. Hol) - an hour depending on experience.
This role is on a contract basis for 3 months but has potential to extend.
Responsibilities as a Planning and Highway Solicitor:
- Draft and negotiate legal agreements, including section 106, section 278 and section 38 agreements.
- Able to handle high caseload in Planning and Highway from start to completion.
- Deliver training and contribute to continuous legal service improvement.
- Represent the Council in appeals, judicial reviews and statutory challenges.
About you as a Planning and Highway Solicitor:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Qualified Solicitor with at least 3 years PQE in Planning and Highway Law.
- Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload.
