Service Care is working alongside a reputable council in Lambeth to recruit a talented and meticulous Childcare Paralegal. Please find the role details below.

  • Location: Lambeth (London)
  • Salary: ÂŁ28 to ÂŁ31 per hour (PAYE exc.) / ÂŁ31 to ÂŁ35 per hour (Umbrella/Ltd)
  • Working: Hybrid (1 day per week in the office)
  • Contract: 8 months ongoing

Role Overview:

  • Assist in providing efficient legal support to the Council by supporting lawyers and the team
  • Conduct routine legal work under supervision of the Senior Lawyer
  • Attend court and instruct counsel as required
  • Support Principal and Senior Lawyers in team administration and procedures, including Lexcel compliance
  • Perform duties proactively within the Council's policies
  • Manage own case load with prior experience
