Service Care Solutions are supporting an East-London based housing association who are seeking an experienced Housing Solicitor to join a busy in-house housing legal team supporting a major social housing provider. The successful candidate will play a key role during a period of growth and housing stock expansion. Please note this role would require office attendance 1 day per week (plus court attendance).
Key Responsibilities
- Run possession claims, including rent arrears and anti-social behaviour cases
- Handle disrepair, tenancy breaches, unlawful occupation and fraud matters
- Draft and review tenancy agreements, notices and legal documentation
- Provide clear legal advice and support across leasehold and shared ownership issues
The Person
- Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 2 years’ PQE in housing law
- Strong advocacy and confident courtroom presence
- Ability to manage a full, varied caseload independently
- Client-focused, practical and solutions-driven approach
