We are seeking an experienced Trade Supervisor - Gas & Plumbing to lead gas engineers, plumbers, and specialist subcontractors delivering repairs, servicing, and maintenance across housing stock. This is a handsβon supervisory role focused on keeping homes safe, warm, and compliant while maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee allocation and sequencing of gas and plumbing works
- Monitor productivity, quality, and performance
- Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with health & safety and gas safety legislation
- Supervise operatives on site; deliver toolbox talks and 1:1s
- Check van stock, tools, and equipment
- Provide technical guidance to ensure work is completed right first time and within deadlines
Requirements
- Qualified Gas & Plumbing professional
- Current domestic gas certifications: CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1, CPA1
- Recognised apprenticeship or City & Guilds qualification
- Strong technical knowledge and leadership skills
- Ability to assess performance, manage compliance, and supervise operatives and subcontractors
- Good communication skills and IT proficiency
- Experience in a responsive repairs environment
