Service Care Solutions are recruiting an experienced Phlebotomist to support a GP Surgery based in East Grinstead (RH19) on a locum basis.
Location: RH19
Contract: Locum
Duration: up to 6 Weeks
Sessions: 2-3 AM clinics per week (flexible days)
Hours: Approximately 8:00/9:00am - 12:00/1:00pm
Clinical System: EMIS
Rate: £16.88 per hour - paid via Umbrella
Role Responsibilities:
- Venepuncture and blood sample collection for patients of all ages
- Accurate labelling, handling and processing of specimens
- Maintaining patient comfort and professionalism throughout appointments
- Updating patient records using EMIS
- Adhering to infection prevention and control procedures
- Working efficiently within a busy primary care environment
Essential Requirements:
- Previous phlebotomy experience within Primary Care, Community or NHS settings
- Competent using EMIS
