We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Window Fitter to join our team in Caerphilly. This role is essential to the repairs and maintenance team where you will be covering maintenance of both void and tenanted domestic properties.
As a Window Fitter you will be responsible for covering Caerphilly properties and duties will include:
- Install various types of windows, including glass, plastic, and metal frames.
- Remove old windows and prepare openings for new installations, ensuring a proper fit and seal.
- Measure window frames accurately to prepare for installation, ensuring that all dimensions meet specifications.
- After installation, apply sealants and ensure that windows are weatherproofed to prevent leaks and enhance energy efficiency.
- Repair and maintain existing windows, which includes replacing broken glass and weatherstripping.
- Adhere to safety regulations and building codes during installation to ensure the safety and quality of work.
This is a fantastic opportunity to secure full time hours Monday to Friday. You will be working a standard 37 hour week with an immediate start available.
The hourly pay rate for this role is £16.28 Ltd (PAYE equivalent £13.97 Inclusive of holiday).
You will need:
- Experience in Window Fitting
- NVQ Level 2 or Above (Or Equivalent)
- An awareness of health and safety in the workplace
- A Full UK Driving Licence
