Service Care Solutions are working in partnership with a specialist neurodevelopmental provider to recruit experienced Consultant Paediatricians (also open to suitably qualified Psychiatrists) specialising in Autism and ADHD assessments for children and young people aged 3–18.

This role focuses on delivering high-quality, compassionate diagnostic assessments within a structured, MDT-led service. Clinicians can work remotely via MS Teams or attend face-to-face clinics (Canterbury and Basingstoke). Through Service Care Solutions, you’ll join a service committed to clinical excellence, strong governance, and meaningful outcomes for families navigating neurodevelopmental pathways.

Job Purpose: ADHD/Autism Assessments – Paediatrician

Pay: £225 - £350 per remote assessment (onsite supplement offered), Outside IR35

Bonus: £250 Welcome Bonus, paid via Service Care Solutions

Location: Remote (In-Person available in Basingstoke or Canterbury)

Working Hours: Flexible Hours, Mon – Sun, 9 – 5pm

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive developmental histories and clinical assessments for Autism and ADHD
  • Observe children and young people in an age-appropriate, compassionate manner
  • Review ADOS reports, developmental history and collateral information from home and school
  • Formulate diagnoses in line with DSM-5 criteria and provide clear, supportive feedback to families
  • Produce high-quality diagnostic reports within 48 hours (admin support provided)
  • Collaborate with the MDT where further information is required
  • Recommend onward referrals in line with NHS Trust/ICB protocols

Requirements:

  • GMC-registered doctor with licence to practise
  • CCT in Paediatrics preferred (Psychiatrists with relevant experience considered)
  • Strong experience in ASD and/or ADHD assessments for children and young people
  • Up to date with appraisal and revalidation
  • Confident working remotely and within structured assessment pathways
  • Passion for delivering compassionate, evidence-based care
