Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for a Legal Support Officer to join a Local Authority Legal Services team in Merseyside. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced legal professional with a background in Child Care and Family Law to support legal proceedings and ensure the smooth coordination of court-related processes within Children’s Services.
Location: Merseyside
Contract: Full Time, 3 Months Rolling
Umbrella Rate: £14 - £16 per hour
PAYE (Inc.Hol): £12.86 - £14.62 per hour
Key Responsibilities as a Legal Support Officer:
- Coordinate and monitor legal and procedural processes to ensure compliance with Court deadlines and Public Law Outline requirements.
- Track Court directions, actions, and filing deadlines to ensure adherence with Court Orders and provide regular progress updates.
- Support Children’s Social Care and Legal Services teams in reducing delays within care proceedings.
- Assist with Adoption, Fostering, and Childcare proceedings across both public and private law matters.
