Job Description
Service Care Solutions is partnering with a respected law firm seeking a proactive and reliable Legal Secretary to support their property department in Stirling. The role focuses on commercial, residential property, and conveyancing law, offering a fantastic opportunity for an experienced secretary to assist a Partner in a dynamic, growing supportive team.
The Role:
As a Legal Secretary, you will be responsible for assisting the Partner in managing a busy and varied caseload, working across a range of commercial and residential property matters, including:
- Providing full secretarial and administrative support to the Partner.
- Preparing, amending, and proofreading legal documents such as contracts, leases, and conveyancing forms.
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, surveyors, and other third parties.
- Handling incoming correspondence and telephone queries.
- Assisting with the preparation of property transactions, including conveyancing procedures.
- Drafting and filing legal documents with the Land Registry and other relevant bodies.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience working as a Legal Secretary, ideally within the property sector (Commercial, Residential, or Conveyancing).
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage a busy workload.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency in MS Office and legal software systems.
- Knowledge of property law and legal procedures would be advantageous.
