We are currently recruiting for a committed and experienced Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Preston on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be expected to provide classroom support across all KS1 year groups, assisting teachers in delivering high-quality learning experiences and contributing positively to pupil development and attainment.
The Role
- Supporting teaching and learning across Key Stage 1 classes
- Working with individual pupils and small groups to reinforce learning objectives
- Assisting class teachers with classroom preparation and daily activities
- Encouraging pupil engagement, confidence, and positive behaviour
- Supporting pupils with varying educational needs where required
Candidate Requirements
