A leading Housing Association in Swanley is seeking an experienced Neighbourhood Officer to deliver a high-quality, customer-focused housing management service across a diverse patch, ensuring tenants can sustain their tenancies and live in safe, well-managed communities.

THE ROLE

  • You will be responsible for delivering a proactive tenancy and estate management service, supporting residents to sustain their tenancies while taking appropriate enforcement action where required.
  • Managing a patch of approximately 650 properties, delivering full tenancy and estate management services.
  • Conducting regular home visits to support tenants and resolve tenancy-related issues.
  • Identifying support needs and making appropriate referrals to partner agencies and support services.
  • Managing safeguarding concerns, domestic abuse and welfare issues, escalating where necessary.
  • Investigating and taking enforcement action for tenancy breaches, including preparation and service of NOSPs and NTQs.
  • Carrying out estate and block inspections, tenancy audits, starter tenancy reviews and succession investigations.
  • Managing low-level ASB cases, working in line with community safety policies and updating ICT systems accurately.

THE CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate will have strong experience within tenancy and estate management, ideally gained within a Housing Association or Local Authority setting, and be confident managing a diverse range of tenant needs.
