Joiner – (Facilities Management & Building Services) Location: Darlington Full-Time | 37 Hours per Week | Monday to Friday Rate: £19 per hour Start: ASAP We are currently recruiting for a skilled Joiner to join a local authority team in Darlington, working as part of the Kitchen & Bathroom Rewire Team within Facilities Management and Building Services. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within the public sector, carrying out high-quality joinery work in occupied and void social housing properties. Key Responsibilities: Carrying out joinery tasks related to kitchen and bathroom upgrades, including fitting units, worktops, doors, and panels Working as part of a multi-trade team during rewires and refurbishments Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in compliance with health and safety regulations Communicating effectively with tenants, supervisors, and other trades Working within scheduled timeframes and maintaining a clean, professional work environmentRequirements: NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Carpentry/Joinery (or time-served experience) Proven experience in kitchen and bathroom fitting Experience working in social housing or public sector environments (preferred) Full UK Driving Licence (may be required for mobile roles) Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a teamIf this is of any interest to you the apply today!
